Set up payouts for rent

Connect Stripe

Rent and deposits paid through Holuway are paid to your organization's own Stripe account, and Stripe pays out to your bank. Only people who manage billing, normally owners and admins, can set this up.

1. Step 11Open Payouts.
2. Step 22Check the Email for the Stripe account. Stripe sends a code to it to confirm it, so use one you can open now.
3. Step 33Select Set up payouts with Stripe and give Stripe your business details and the bank account for payouts. If you stop partway, select Continue with Stripe later.
4. Step 44Back on Holuway, the page shows your status. When it says Ready to take payments, tenants can pay online.

Choose how tenants can pay

Under How tenants can pay, bank account payments are always on. Accept debit and credit cards lets tenants pay by card as well; cards clear right away but cost more to process. The fees that apply to your organization, and who pays them, are listed under the switch.

After setup

Select Manage payouts in Stripe to see your payouts and change your bank account. See Add or change a bank account.
