Leases and e-signing
Prepare the lease, send it, and each tenant signs from a phone with their own link. You countersign, the lease becomes active, and the signed copy and its certificate are kept with the lease.
01 · Prepare
Upload the lease you already use, use your company's own template, or use a Holuway lease where one is offered for the home's state. Answer its questions, add the adult co-tenants, preview the PDF and send it.
02 · Sign
Every signer gives consent to sign electronically, reads the lease and signs or declines from any phone. You countersign last, and the lease becomes active, with the move-in charges in the ledger.
03 · Keep
The signed PDF is stored once, privately, with its fingerprint and a certificate of completion listing each signature. Tenants find it in their portal, and you find it with the lease.
04 · After signing
Offer a renewal with a new rent, signed the same way. Record a notice to move out from either side, agree an early end, or let the lease continue month to month. When a lease ends, the home is freed and autopay stops.
